Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (NSE:ARE&M, BOM:500008) recorded a rise in its consolidated net profit to 2.98 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, against 2.68 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 16.30 rupees compared with a year-ago figure of 14.64 rupees, according to a Saturday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the battery manufacturer.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q3 also increased to 32.7 billion rupees from 30.4 billion rupees a year earlier.
Shares of the company were down nearly 4% in recent trade.
