Zhongxin Fruit and Juice's (SGX:5EG) profit for the half ended Dec. 31, 2024 surged to 21.8 million yuan from 2.9 million yuan a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.

Earnings per share came in at 0.0206 yuan compared with 0.0027 yuan in the comparable period.

Revenue surged 188% year over year to 168.1 million yuan from 58.4 million yuan, due to a surge in from end customers.

Shares of the producer of fruit and vegetable juice concentrates slid 6% in recent trading.
