Palo Alto Networks (PANW) late Thursday reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP net income of $0.81 per diluted share compared with $0.73 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet, on average, expected $0.78.
Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 31 was $2.26 billion, compared with $1.98 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $2.24 billion.
The cybersecurity company expects Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $0.76 to $0.77 on revenue of $2.26 billion to $2.29 billion. Analysts are projecting $0.76 and $2.27 billion, respectively.
For 2025, Palo Alto Networks expects fiscal 2025 non-GAAP EPS of $3.18 to $3.24 on revenue of $9.14 billion to $9.19 billion compared with its prior forecast of $6.26 to $6.39 and $9.12 billion to $9.17 billion, respectively.
Analysts are looking for non-GAAP EPS of $3.17 on $9.15 billion in revenue.
Shares were falling almost 5% in Thursday's after-hours session.
