1742 ET - Airbnb's success during the Paris Olympics could build partnerships with other cities, as it attempts to move away from claims that its presence in cities pushes up rent prices. The rental marketplace housed 700,000 people during this summer's event in France, Chief Executive Brian Chesky told analysts. He thinks Milan and L.A. will now be more interested in working together as they prepare to host the Olympics. City partnerships would be a breath of fresh air for the company that has faced allegations of pushing up rent prices in urban areas and was banned from New York City. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
