Consumer stocks advanced premarket Thursday as the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) was up 0.2% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) was 0.8% higher recently.

Unilever (UL) shares fell by over 6% after the company reported a decline in Q4 turnover.

Molson Coors Beverage (TAP) shares were up 6% after the company reported an increase in Q4 underlying earnings.

Hyatt Hotels (H) shares were down 5% after the company reported lower Q4 adjusted earnings and revenue.
