Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) said it is assessing the listing of its Indian asset management joint venture, ICICI Prudential Asset Management, a Wednesday bourse filing said.

The listing, if executed, will involve partial divestment of Prudential's stake in the joint venture, while partner ICICI Bank (NSE:ICICIBANK, BOM:532174) will retain its shareholding.

The British insurer plans to return the proceeds from the listing to the shareholders.
