Sony Group (SONY) reported fisal Q3 earnings Thursday of 61.82 Japanese yen ($0.40) per diluted share, up from 58.96 yen a year earlier.
Two analysts polled by FactSet expected 44.89 yen.
Sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 were 4.410 trillion yen, compared with 3.748 trillion yen a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected 3.743 trillion yen.
The company said it now expects 13.20 trillion yen in fiscal 2024 sales, up from the previous guidance of 12.71 trillion yen. Analysts polled by FactSet expect 12.74 trillion yen.
Shares of Sony Group were up over 3% in recent premarket activity Thursday.
