Paladin Energy (ASX:PDN) said its Canadian operating company, Fission Uranium, signed a mutual benefits agreement with the Clearwater River Dene Nation, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The agreement will form the basis of a long-term working relationship between the first nations band government and the firm.
Paladin's Patterson Lake South uranium project lies within the lands currently and historically used by the Clearwater River Dene Nation for the exercise of its aboriginal and treaty rights.
