Asian Battery Metals (ASX:AZ9) plans to conduct up to 1,500 meters of diamond drilling in its phase three exploration program at its Oval copper-nickel project in Mongolia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The mining firm will conduct downhole electromagnetic surveys in these additional drill holes. It is also planning to conduct regional geophysical surveys from April to June.
A gravity-high anomaly identified in a revised inversion model of current gravity data will be tested during the drilling program.
The firm's shares fell 4% in recent trading on Tuesday.
