A Delta Air Lines (DAL) regional jet flipped over while landing at Toronto Pearson Airport on Monday amid strong winds following a snowstorm, multiple media outlets reported, citing local officials.
The reports said the crash injured 18 of the 80 people onboard, including three critically, one of whom was a child.
The flight, DL4819, arrived from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the report said, adding the CRJ900 aircraft operated by Endeavor Air suffered significant damage, with one wing torn off.
Canadian authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, which was not yet known, according to the reports.
The 16-year-old CRJ900 was made by Canada's Bombardier and powered by GE Aerospace (GE) engines.
