Chinese short video platform TikTok is being offered again on Apple's and Google's app stores after President Donald Trump delayed a ban on the ByteDance-owned app, Reuters reported Feb. 13.
On Jan. 20, Trump signed an executive order that delays the ban for 75 days, a day a after the law restricting the app became effective, the report said.
However, Apple and Google still refrained from putting back TikTok into their US app stores until Trump assured them that they would not be prosecuted for offering the app during the delay, according to the media outlet.
