United Overseas Bank (SGX:U11) issued a SG$3 billion package as part of its capital distribution strategy for its shareholders, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday.

The package includes special dividends and share buybacks which will be delivered over the next three years.

A special dividend of SG$0.005 per share has been recommended, with payment to made in two tranches in 2025.
