Celanese $(CE)$: The chemicals and plastics maker swung to a quarterly loss, with weak demand across global automotive, paints and industrial areas. Shares slid nearly 15% in premarket trading.
Arista Networks $(ANET)$: The cloud-networking company logged higher quarterly profit, boosted by a double-digit sales increase. Shares declined 4% before the bell.
Bumble $(BMBL)$: The online-dating company gave a weak earnings outlook for the current quarter, sending shares down 17% premarket.
Occidental Petroleum $(OXY)$: The energy company swung to a quarterly loss as sales declined. Shares ticked down premarket.
Howard Hughes $(HHH)$: Pershing Square submitted a new $900 million offer to boost its stake in the real-estate company and install Bill Ackman as chief executive. Shares retreated in light premarket trading, after rising Tuesday on news of the planned bid.
Rheinmetall (XE:RHM), Saab (SE:SAAB.B), Leonardo (IT:LDO): The rally in European defense stocks continued, with Germany's Rheinmetall and Italy's Leonardo up roughly 15% this week and Sweden's Saab up over 20%.
Glencore (UK:GLEN): The commodities company reported lower-than-expected earnings and said it would review its primary stock listing in London. Shares fell 7%.
Philips (NL:PHIA): The Dutch health-technology company swung to a quarterly loss and said demand in China remains subdued. Shares slid 11% in Amsterdam.
Analog Devices $(ADI)$, Etsy $(ETSY)$, Carvana $(CVNA)$ are among the companies set to report earnings today.
