FIT Hon Teng (HKG:6088) unit New Wing Interconnect Technology (Bac Giang) agreed to inject $50 million in cash into JV firm Goertek Electronics Vietnam, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

Following this, the entire charter capital of the joint venture will be 25% owned by New Wing Interconnect Technology and 75% by an independent third party.

The move comes about as a strategic investment, according to the electrical component manufacturer.
