Adairs (ASX:ADH) reported Monday that its attributable earnings per diluted share in the fiscal first half rose to AU$0.111 from AU$0.101 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting an EPS of AU$0.12.
Revenue from contracts with customers for the six months ended Dec. 29, 2024, was AU$310.5 million, up from AU$302.4 million in the same period a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$311.8 million.
The company expects fiscal 2025 capital expenditure of AU$16 million to AU$18 million, compared with AU$13 million to AU$15 million previously. It also said trading in the second half of the year will "remain challenging" and expects to close up to three stores for refurbishment.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.065 per share, up from the AU$0.05 in the previously reported period, payable on April 3 to shareholders on record as of March 11.
