EDU Holdings (ASX:EDU) said total student enrollments for the first trimester of the year in its higher education business, Ikon Institute, surged 151% compared with the same period the previous year, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

Total student enrollments clocked in at 3,232 during the reported period from 1,287 last year, while new student enrollments came in at 889, rising 98% from 448 year-over-year, the filing said.
