BAIC Motor (HKG:1958) Chairman Chen Wei resigned as chairman and director, citing work adjustments, according to a Sunday evening filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Chen's resignation will take effect upon the appointment of his successor, the filing said.

Wang Hao will succeed Chen in his board seat, effective from the date of the annual shareholder meeting, the filing said.
