** Shares of gym chain Planet Fitness PLNT.N down 2% at $97.4 premarket

** Company forecasts annual system-wide same-store-sales to grow in a range of 5%-6%, below analysts' expectations of 6.5% growth, according to data compiled by LSEG

** Co expects annual adjusted net income to grow between 8% to 9%, below analysts' expectations of 14% increase

** Adjusted net income per share, diluted to increase in the 11%-12% range, below expectations of 16.9% growth

** PLNT stock rose 35.4% in 2024
