Guangdong Guanghua Sci-Tech (SHE:002741) plans to construct a lithium battery materials plant in Dazhou High-tech Industrial Park, China for 1 billion yuan, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Friday.
The plant, which will be constructed in two phases, will produce 100,000 tons of high-performance lithium battery materials every year.
The Chinese advanced specialty chemicals producer signed a cooperation agreement with the Dazhou High-tech Industrial Park Management Committee to obtain legal rights for the project, such as trademark and technology, the filing said.
