Root (ROOT) reported overnight Q4 sales that surged from a year ago, beating the average analyst estimate compiled by FactSet.
Shares surged 29% as intraday trading volume soared to more than 1.96 million from a daily average of about 379,000.
Mattel (MAT) and Warner Bros. Discovery's (WBD) Global Consumer Products division said Thursday they signed a multi-year global licensing agreement for DC stories and characters.
Warner Bros. Q4 loss widened unexpectedly as sales slid more than forecast but it saw gains in subscribers on annual and sequential bases and forecast continuous growth for the metric.
Shares of Warner Bros. jumped 12% as intraday trading volume climbed to more than 61.1 million from a daily average of about 28.5 million.
BeiGene (ONC) shares jumped 8% after the company narrowed its Q4 net loss as revenue surged from a year ago.
Shares advanced 8%, with intraday trading volume rising to over 748,000 from a daily average of about 414,000.
