IonQ (IONQ) is in advanced talks to buy ID Quantique for $250 million, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a person with knowledge of the matter.
IonQ could use stock as payment for a deal that could be announced as early as this week, but talks are still ongoing, and a deal may not be reached, the report said.
IonQ declined to comment, and ID Quantique didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
