A controversial pro-Palestinian academic at Macquarie University who has made public anti-Israel statements has had her $870,000 grant suspended by the Australian Research Council.
In 2022, Dr Randa Abdel-Fattah was awarded $870,269 by the ARC to conduct a study titled “Arab/Muslim Australian Social Movements since the 1970s”.
