Cisco Systems (CSCO) said Tuesday that it has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, or FedRAMP, authorization at the Moderate Impact Level for Cisco Meraki for Government service.
FedRAMP is a US government program that promotes the adoption of cloud technologies across the federal government by providing a standardized approach to validating security and risk controls for cloud-based products and services, it said.
The US Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency sponsored the authorization, the company said.
