HeiTech Padu (KLSE:HTPADU) is diversifying into renewable energy after securing a 903 million ringgit share in a hydroelectric project from TNB Genco.
The contract is part of a 291.4 million euro, or 1.04 billion ringgit, deal awarded to the Voith-HeiTech Consortium, according to a Tuesday Malaysian bourse filing.
The project is expected to contribute over 25% to net profit and assets, the company said.
