1218 ET - Off-price retailers may be doing better than their stock prices indicate, Deutsche Bank analysts say. Companies like Burlington, Ross and TJ Maxx are likely to see their stocks trade down due to consumer caution and higher prices tariffs, as those companies have generally underperformed the S&P 500 over the past year. But analysts believe off-price retailers will manage same-store sales growth as they gain market share from department stores and competitors struggle with bankruptcies and closures.
