Feb 28 (Reuters) - Private equity firm Sycamore Partners is closing in to buy out Walgreens Boots Alliance WBA.O, CNBC reported on Friday, citing sources.
The company had been in talks to be taken private by Sycamore since December, according to media reports.
Walgreens did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
