Champion Technology (HKG:0092) reported a loss attributable to the owners of HK$21.6 million for the six months ended Dec. 31, compared with a profit of HK$50.6 million in the previous year, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Loss per share came in at HK$0.0267, compared with earnings per share of HK$0.0736 in the prior-year period.

The company's revenue fell to HK$21.7 million, from HK$89.3 million a year earlier.

The gas oil trader's share prices were down by 5% in recent trading.
