China Industrial Securities International Financial Group or CISI Financial (HKG:6058) agreed to provide a guarantee to China CITIC Bank International (HKG:0998, SHA:601998), securing all obligations of its unit CISI Investment under an agreement with the bank, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The agreement between the two parties comprises a global master repurchase contract.
The securities broker has set an internal control to ensure the amount of the guarantee does not exceed $150 million.
Shares of the company were down nearly 4% in recent trade.
