Alcon (ALC) reported Q4 core diluted earnings late Tuesday of $0.72 per share, up from $0.70 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.71.
Net sales in the three months ended Dec. 31 rose to $2.48 billion from $2.33 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.47 billion.
In 2025, the company expects core diluted EPS of $3.15 to $3.25 on net sales of $10.2 billion to $10.4 billion. Analysts project EPS of $3.32 on sales of $10.45 billion.
The board proposed a dividend of 0.28 Swiss franc ($0.31) a share based on 2024 results, subject to shareholder approval at the annual meeting May 6.
