TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pertamina revealed that the energy services for the public continue amidst the legal process of corruption case in several subholding companies. Pertamina also expressed its support for the Attorney General's Office and law enforcement agencies in carrying out their duties and authorities.
Vice President Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, asserted that the distribution of energy services to the public remains a top priority.
"Pertamina ensures the distribution of energy services to the public continues to operate normally as usual," he said in an official statement on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
The Pertamina Group claims that it adheres to the principles of transparency and accountability in conducting its business, in accordance with Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and applicable regulations.
Furthermore, Fadjar stated that Pertamina is ready to collaborate with law enforcement agencies and hopes that the legal process can proceed smoothly, still upholding the principle of presumption of innocence.
Pertamina ensures that the public's energy needs continue to be fulfilled without disruption, alongside the ongoing legal process.
Prior to this, four senior executives of PT Pertamina (Persero) were named as suspects in a case of alleged corruption in the management of crude oil and refinery products by Attorney General's Office. The suspects are from the board of directors of Pertamina's subholdings as well as private sector individuals who were allegedly involved from 2018 to 2023.
"Based on sufficient evidence, the Investigative Team has named seven suspects related to this case," said the Head of Legal Information Center of Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar, on Monday, February 24, 2025.
The suspects include Riva Siahaan as the President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga; Sani Dinar Saifuddin as the Director of Feedstock and Product Optimization of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional; Yoki Firnandi as the President Director of PT Pertamina International Shipping; and Agus Purwono as the Vice President of Feedstock Management of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional.
