Plug Power (PLUG) said Friday it has rolled out a compensation program that allows executives to receive up to 75% of their pay in company shares.
The program lets eligible executives choose to take 25%, 50%, or 75% of their base salary and certain bonuses in stock, starting at the next open trading period, the company said.
Plug Power explained that the new model is designed to better align its leadership team's financial interests with those of its shareholders and will remain active through the fiscal year.
