Budweiser Brewing APAC (HKG:1876) Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman Jan Craps will exit the company after seven years in the role, citing "other opportunities," according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong stock exchange.

Yanjun Cheng, global supply chain operations chief, will succeed Craps as CEO at the brewery, the filing said.

The company will appoint Cheng's successor soon, the filing said.

Shares surged 13% during Wednesday's morning trading.
