Pfizer (PFE) said Monday Patrizia Cavazzoni will be rejoining the company as chief medical officer.

Cavazzoni was most recently the director of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at the US Food and Drug Administration, Pfizer said.

Cavazzoni will succeed Aida Habtezion who will be leaving Pfizer to pursue other opportunities.
