Alligator Energy (ASX:AGE) began a follow-up drill program at its Big Lake uranium project in South Australia, according to an Australian bourse filing on Thursday.
All approvals are in place and crews have been mobilized to the site for the program.
The program will comprise up to 30 air core holes to test targets identified in the Namba formation and up to 20 rotary-mud holes to test targets identified in the deeper Eyre formation.
Results are expected to be released in late May or early June subject to the completion of the drill program.
The firm's shares rose 3% on market close on Thursday.
