Thomson Reuters (TRI) said Wednesday that an aggregate of $1.65 billion of notes and debentures were validly tendered and accepted for exchange of new notes to be issued by its TR Finance unit before the early tender deadline on Tuesday.
These include $437.9 million of 3.350% notes due 2026, $445.1 million of 5.850% notes due 2040, $84.2 million of 4.500% notes due 2043, $335.5 million of 5.650% notes due 2043, and $348.8 million of 5.500% debentures due 2035, according to the company.
Thomson Reuters said it is extending the total consideration and consent solicitation fee offering for all noteholders until the expiration of the tender offer on March 17 and expects to settle tendered notes by March 20.
Shares were 1.2% lower in recent trading.
