1544 ET - Amazon has no plans to spin out its Amazon Web Services business, CEO Andrew Jassy told CNBC. It's "very useful" for AWS and Amazon to be part of the same company because many of AWS's partners also want to partner with the company's retail or entertainment businesses, Jassy said. Jassy is aiming to build more generative AI apps on top of AWS, which it believes will help it learn more about how generative AI can improve the customer experience, ultimately aiding Amazon's mission.
