Feb 27 - Chemify, a deep-tech chemical science company integrating chemistry, robotics, and artificial intelligence, said Thursday that Michael Bell has joined as Chief Technology Officer. Bell, a veteran of Apple (AAPL, Financial), Intel (INTC, Financial), and other technology firms will guide the development of Chemify's digital chemistry platform, which aims to design and produce new molecules through a proprietary programming language.

In his 15 years at Apple Bell, he worked on the hardware and software side of development that facilitated the iMac and iPhone launches. He went on to serve at senior Intel, as well as Lucid Motors, before becoming president of Rivian Automotive. He noted that Bell's experience would go hand in hand with the company's willingness to 'chemputation', to digitize chemical production methods.

Through its Chemify approach the company implements robotic systems assisted by AI to accelerate pharmaceutical and materials development by streamlining molecule creation. According to the company the software method enables quick research progress by converting chemical instructions into digital codes that reduce product development times.

Bell discovered himself attracted to Chemify because he believed its advanced capabilities could revolutionize both the discovery process and manufacturing methods of molecules. Bell expressed his view that the company's technology would lead to enhanced operational efficiency in business sectors where chemical workflows require intricate management.
