HSBC Holdings (HKG:0005) issued five series of bonds totaling $7 billion, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
These include $1.5 billion of 4.899% fixed-rate/floating-rate senior unsecured bonds due 2029, $1.75 billion of 5.130% fixed-rate/floating-rate senior unsecured bonds maturing in 2031, and $2.25 billion of 5.450% fixed-rate/floating-rate senior unsecured bonds due 2036.
The issuance also included $750 million of floating-rate senior unsecured bonds due 2029 and $750 million of floating-rate senior unsecured bonds due 2031.
The British lender will apply to list the bonds on the New York Stock Exchange.
