Angang Steel (HKG:0347) completed the repurchase and cancellation of 14,180,048 shares for 26.5 million yuan, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The share buyback was funded entirely by the company's own resources. As a result, the company's total share count has decreased to 9,369,221,258.
The transaction will not affect its controlling shareholder or financial stability.
