Chery Automobile submitted documents for an initial public offering on the Hong Kong bourse on Friday.
The Chinese car manufacturer plans to use proceeds from its planned IPO to develop different passenger vehicle models and next-generation vehicles, overseas expansion, facility upgrade, and for working capital.
China International Capital Corp. Hong Kong Securities, Huatai Financial Holdings (Hong Kong), and GF Capital (Hong Kong) are among the joint sponsors of the offering.
