BJ's Wholesale Club's results are a standout print this earnings season, says D.A. Davidson's Michael Baker in a research note. The warehouse club for the third quarter in a row posted a quarterly beat, as well as upside and acceleration on comps, among other points, adds the analyst. Baker says the guidance is solid as well. "We think it makes sense to give what BJ's CFO [Laura Felice] terms a 'cautiously optimistic' outlook," says Baker. Shares rise 10% to $110.11 on 4Q sales above Wall Street's forecasts.
