China Best Group's Unit to Establish JV Humanoid Robotics with Dataa Robotics in Hong Kong

China Best Group Holding's (HKG:0370) subsidiary, Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Group, agreed to restructure Hong Kong Robotics, another subsidiary of the company, into a joint venture company with Dataa Robotics, a Wednesday bourse filing said.

The move follows the company's agreement to establish a humanoid robot intelligence-focused joint venture in Hong Kong with Dataa Robotics on Feb. 18.

The new JV will aim to develop business operations and market for humanoid robot-operated products for civil use in Hong Kong and overseas.

Shares of the company ballooned nearly 37% on Thursday's close.
