(Updates with IBM's confirmation in the first paragraph.)
International Business Machines (IBM) Chief Executive Arvind Krishna and fellow members of the Technology CEO Council will meet with President Donald Trump on Monday, an IBM spokesperson confirmed to MT Newswires in an email Thursday.
Chief executives of IBM, HP (HPQ), Intel (INTC) and Qualcomm (QCOM) have discussed meeting with the US administration, Bloomberg reported earlier Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The meeting with President Donald Trump comes amid import tariffs and stricter export rules that could impact the businesses of technology companies, according to the report.
An HP spokesperson told Bloomberg that "some of the topics top of mind for our leadership team are trade policy and US manufacturing."
Intel, HP, Qualcomm and the White House did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
