Bunge Global SA (BG) said Thursday its Bunge Limited Finance unit has extended the deadline for the exchange offers and consent solicitations related to outstanding Viterra Finance notes from March 7 to April 7.
The company said the extension applies to offers to exchange up to $1.95 billion in Viterra notes for new Bunge notes and cash, as well as related consent solicitations.
The exchange offers and consent solicitations remain subject to conditions, including the completion of Bunge Limited Finance's pending acquisition of Viterra, which still requires regulatory approvals, Bunge Global said.
If the merger is delayed beyond the new deadline, Bunge said it may extend the expiration date further.
