APT Medical (SHA:688617), through a subsidiary, obtained a medical device registration certificate from the Chinese drug administration for its vena cava filter system, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The device is inserted through the femoral vein or jugular vein to prevent pulmonary embolism, the medical device company said.
