Scale AI, a startup backed by Nvidia (NVDA), Amazon.com (AMZN), and Meta Platforms (META), is facing an investigation by the US Department of Labor for its compliance with regulations on fair pay and working conditions, media outlets reported Friday.
TechCrunch cited a source saying the probe is ongoing and a document showed that the investigation has been open since at least August 2024.
Scale AI and the US Department of Labor did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
