- A Nio executive highlighted the faster energy replenishment that battery swap can bring to the Onvo L90.
- The image shows its charging port located on the left rear side of the body, as on mainstream EV models.

A Nio (NYSE: NIO) executive shared a new image of the Onvo L90 as it continues to warm up for the new SUV (sport utility vehicle) model.
Eric Yu, Nio's assistant vice president and head of Onvo products, shared the new image of the Onvo L90 on Weibo today, showing a camouflaged vehicle parked in a battery swap station area.
"Onvo L90, a full charge in three minutes is faster than refueling," Yu wrote on Weibo.
The Onvo L90 was parked in the start area for self-parking, and the image shows its charging port located on the left rear side of the body, just like mainstream EVs.
Onvo launched its first model, the L60, on September 19, 2024, and deliveries of the five-seat mid-size SUV began on September 28.
Onvo's second model is named the Onvo L90, the brand's president, Alan Ai, said in a February 21 livestream.
Onvo planned to debut the L90 in the second quarter of this year and officially launch it in the third quarter, Ai said at the time.
Onvo released the first official image of the L90 on February 25, when Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) began previewing its first all-electric SUV, the Li i8.
On February 26, Onvo released a new image of the L90, comparing the model to the Li L9, after Li Auto shared a new image of the Li i8.
Nio Inc delivered 13,192 vehicles in February, including 9,143 under the Nio main brand and 4,049 for Onvo.
Earlier today, the Onvo L60's delivery wait time was reduced to 2-4 weeks from 4-6 weeks previously, according to CnEVPost's monitoring.
