Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) has entered more European markets as the company aims to expand its international footprint to 60 countries and regions this year.

The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker recently entered the automotive markets of Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, where it plans to start selling the P7 sedan, G9 SUV (sport utility vehicle), and G6 SUV in the second quarter, the company said today on Weibo.

Xpeng has signed cooperation agreements with distributors including Inchcape and Hedin Mobility.

Inchcape is responsible for the import and distribution of Xpeng's vehicles in Poland, and Hedin is responsible for sales of the company's vehicles in Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Poland is Xpeng's largest market in Eastern Europe, according to the company.

Since entering the Norwegian car market in 2021, Xpeng currently operates in Germany, France, the UK, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal and Ireland.

The company plans to operate in more than 60 markets worldwide by the end of 2025 and hopes to achieve half of its sales from overseas markets.

To date, Xpeng operates in more than 30 international markets.

Last month, Xpeng entered the UK automotive market, where it launched the G6 SUV, with deliveries set to begin in March.

It shipped 300 right-hand drive X9 MPVs (multi-purpose vehicle) to Thailand in February, bringing its most expensive model to the international markets.
