Henan Tong-Da Cable (SHE:002560) was named as a candidate for the State Grid's procurement bidding for line and network materials, which totals to 768.8 million yuan, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
The Chinese wire maker is qualified for the bidding for aluminum-clad steel wires and steel core aluminum stranded wires, the filing said.
The company's shares rose less than 3% in recent trade.
