0607 GMT - China's stock-market rally remains isolated, as the momentum hasn't spilled over to other emerging markets, but its risk-reward profile continues to look attractive, Julius Baer says in a note. The offshore Chinese market has witnessed strong sentiment and shrugged off the tariff headlines so far, it says. While Chinese equities have surged, driven by technology and artificial intelligence, Julius Baer expects gains to rotate into other sectors, particularly consumer sectors, given the government's focus on boosting domestic demand. It expects some consolidation in 2Q, especially for IT stocks. "This consolidation will represent a healthy digestion of previous gains, paving the way for another potential rally later in the year."
